Germany, Saed Border, Husum Town, Hamburg City.

 


Approaching Denmark/Germany Border near Tonder/Saed /Sunderlugum Germany.




Husum Town  

is located North Western Germany 44km south west of Flensberg near the border of Denmark.  Husum is called a"gray Town by the North Sea'", when we passed through the Town it was not that bad...that gray and gloomy.......we were glad we had some pretty photos to show....

   Hamburg City

The City of Humburg lies on the River Elbe, is located in the North of the country, 150 km from Husum and 200km from the border with Denmark. It is also referred to as The Gateway to the World being Germany's biggest Port and second busiest port in Europe despite it being 100km from the North Sea

A bronze equestrian statue Wilheim 1 with statues of a warrior with female figures, the fisherman (representing Trade and Navigation) and the smith (representing Industry).

At the Fish market area. walking around we found this Fish Bistro still open that is quite popular with tourists.
