Russia - Moscow Golden Ring - Vladimir

Our tour of Moscow's Golden Ring begins from the City of Vladimir.
We left the M7 and crossed Klyazma River to the ancient town of Vladimir, famous for the white monuments that are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

The Uspensky Sobor / Assumption Cathedral, built in 1157-1160 and rebuilt in 1185-1189 after a fire. It served as a model for the building of the Assumption Cathedral in Moscow in the 15th Century
