Russia - Chuysky Trakt - from Tashanta to Aktash

Upon leaving the Russia / Mongolia border, we drove on Chuysky Trakt north for about 960km to Novosibirsk. It would take us several days to arrive at Novosibirsk. Meantime, we would be enjoying the view of the Russian Altai Mountain Range.

Desert like area near Ortolyk Village, about 15km northwest of Kosh-Agach. Part of the Altai Mountain Range in the distance.

It's been drizzling and cloudy since morning. Temperature have so far been below 10°C.

Chuysky Trakt runs alongside the Chuya River for about 250km, between Inya and the  Russia / Mongolia border.

After Kosh Agash... 834km to Novosibirsk.
