After breakfast we left the Flaming Cliffs at about 9am and made our way south to Yolin-Am.
We were still travelling on the dirt tracks. With no road signs, we set our GPS in the general direction to Yolin-Am......keeping an eye on the compass in our Sorento ....south wards
Along the way, we came across a water catchment pond used by the nearby village and local animals.. The pond is fed by an underground spring nearby. As the place was deserted, we decided to top up our washing water reserve and also took the opportunity to wash our Sorento and wipe down the dusts in the interior.
It turn out to be a very rewarding few hours, the pond is also a popular watering hole for the local animals and birds...this water catchment pond is also the source of water for the village further down the dirt road.
Horses, goats, sheep, a couple of ducks, birds and finally a herd of Bactrian Camels visited to pond to drink.
Watch the short video....to experience the joy of watching animals a few meters away The camels were wary of us and Our Sorento ....the leader of the herd, a burly guy hesitated initially advancing back and forth assessing the situation, eventually taking a detour away from us and gazed at us again and realizing that we were not a threat to the herd the burly leader urged the rest to the drink. it was an amazing spectacle.....

Still wary of us....
Later in the evening, we came across a small herd of gazelles in the distance.
We washed Sorento at noon, 5 hours after its all dirty again. The well used dirt road to Yolin Am. Ice Canyon
